Hello all!

I'll get straight to the point.

I have had my 360 flashed with xtreme fw 4.2 stealth and have got some copies off my mate.

Out of 6 only 3 work.

One of the games in question loads sometimes but not always.

I have re-burnt one of them which works perfectly but cannot get the other 2 to work at all.

I have a Pioneer 111d with the latest firmware and use the latest version of Clonecd.

The games that don't work don't even register as a disk in the 360 and make a horrible sound when they spin up in the drive.

The discs are Traxdata+ DL which were recommended by the place i had it flashed.

Any ideas?

Was Traxdata recommended ? Good to know that those people know what they are doing... Go and buy Verbatims, burn them at 2.4x or 4x and you'll be fine. Not to mention, upgrade your fw to 5.2 as the 4.2 fw has had serious bugs regarding disk recognition. By the way, do those other games work at all in other machines ?

Yeah the lad that burnt them had the xtreme 3.1 and has no problems. I don't want to shell out more money to flash my 360 and i don't think i can do it myself.

I am currently trying to re-burn at 2.4 to see if it makes any difference.

i use datawrites ....... hitachi 78..no probs..... i would follow stephens ADVICE AND UPGRADE THE FIRMWARE

if your burning them again make sure you booktype the dvd media as your fimware is old on the 360 version 5 xxxx are ok not to but doesnt hurt if you still do it

4.x as said was terrible after some (usually short) time. Open tray errors, unrecognised disk errors have appeared. There are several tutorials how to flash your drive, it being a Samsung is even easier than the Hitach. All you need is a supported chipset or a VIA6421 SATA add on card. I have tried several media, with these problematic drives the 1st step is to try a decent media and when that works then one can go with some lower quality ones, unfortunatelly some drives simply cannot accept them no matter what fw you are using...
