I was wondering how does the new Xbox 360 sound for movies? Is it DTS capable? I'm very concerned in that department. How does it play backed up movies? Does it read dvd-r, dvd+r's? Will it upscale an orginal pressed dvd, or a backup to 720progressive? Will it be capable of playing newer High definition dvd's in the future? I don't know much about that.

I am thinking of getting one eventually if it can totally replace my standalone player. Which is a pretty descent Onkyo player. Will the 360's high definiton component video cord down convert a signal to standard definition? If you don't have a hidef tv. Why do that? Well just incase you upgrade your television in the future your already ready. How is the proprietary connecters? I don't like this because I usually use specialty cables. I am a little concerned about the quality, but not greatly.


I like the idea of being able to have some of my pc media on there too. Also how could you get your mp3, wma, and photo's to the 360? I don't have high speed interenet just dial up. I probablly could come up with a million questions concerning this 360. So I will leave it at that for now.
