Playing imports with Swap Magic

I posted not long ago about needing help with Swap Magic 3.8 Coder and the flip top. Well I have gotten it to load a few times and I just got my game last night. I tried it out today. I loaded the DVD disc, got it to the boot menu swapped the dvd disc with my game. Pushed normal boot and default. It started to load it said reading disc then it came up with the red screen saying "Please insert PS or PS2 format disc" Am I doing something wrong? Please can someone help me out here I'm leaving on vacation Friday I promised my niece I'd bring it for us to play.
