Media Testing/Identifying Software Discuss, Quick Right Kprobe approved settings? at Blank Media forum; hello, i don't remember were i've seen a thread like this, however: I'd like to start my personal k-probe testings with my new 851s, but the official thread on the media forum seems to me too obscure, can one of you give me the ultimate forum-

Quick Right Kprobe approved settings?

hello, i don't remember were i've seen a thread like this, however:

I'd like to start my personal k-probe testings with my new 851s, but the official thread on the media forum seems to me too obscure, can one of you give me the ultimate forum-approved

CD Freaks "standard" when scanning DVD+/-R/RW´s with Kprobe

Write strategy, Speed 4X (max unchecked), PI/PO sum 8 ECC, Disc size.

mmmm.... my first graphics seems to be too low, are there also some settings to set up the graph heights?

The default auto settings should suffice. You may want to manually adjust them after the scan if you feel it's necessary, but otherwise, leave 'em alone.

General rule; low is GOOD and high is BAD.

BTW, why not post one off your scans in this thread.
Save your graphs with "A-disk symbol", right lower part of Kprobe. Chose "both" in next window, save with .PNG or .JPG extention. Attach the file saved to a post here.
