Web offer too good to be true? Read the fineprint

Cnet today is carrying a story, from the New York Times online, about offers of free products on the web along with the Catch 22 they represent. The reporter from the 'Times' obviously did some background checks with both the FBI (Internet Fraud Complaint Centre) and also located an interesting web site RippOffReport..com(link =http://www.ripoffreport.com/) this site covers interesting tales of woe . I humbly apologise to all and sundry in regard to my stupidity in previously posting the link to the freeipod on the bargain basement site. I understand, I have trangressed the rules and you are entitled to expel me from this site if you so choose.
