However i think this would not be the end of ecommerce. As i think that the end of oil would not be the end of of the car or airplane!
Internet cryptography would have to change and i think it would really change!
I don´t understand cryptography enouph. But my experience tells me that people always finds a another way around!
About the car and airplane, on Brazil cars are based on etil alcohol, instead of gasoline. Here in Europe and in Japan also, there is a lot of research supported by the politicians, on hydrogen to power machines that before where based on oil derivatives, like cars! And some good progress has been done.
