Looking at the results the AMD FX-53 and 55 still dominates most of the tests although a few with the new motherbard and chip do also creep in there. Surprisingly even the P4 560 wins a couple of them. Although I am not convinced about the chip the motherboards look good. One line I saw in the review stated,
If it can indeed run the Dual core chips this this certainly hold promise. You could fit a cheaper 600 series chip in there untill the dual core revolution arrives and then bang upgrade and minimal cost.

It also seems that if you buy some decent DDR2-667 Ram then you should be able to overclock it to DDR2-711 without to many problems. In the test results this really does make a difference.

It will be a little while before the boards hit the shelfs and untill then there are going to be ALOT of reviews and testing done on these new boards. I can't wait.

from what i've seen/read, the increase in fsb does little (~1% increase) for performance.

I think thats a little low. The ones I have seen are closer to 3%.

Asus i925XE motherboard appeared in late October for about US$300. I hope Intel's first chipset ready for dual-core won't increase cost of motherboard too much.

dude look what i have i do product research for alien ware its fun. i get all the good sutff. i have a 3.6ghz p4 ee w/ht over clocked to 4.0ghz. they for a while now have been selling the 3.4ghz p4 ee w/ht over clocked to 3.8ghz to the public and also they been selling the regular 3.6ghz w/ht over clocked to 4ghz to the plublic and i have had the SLi dual graphics card set up for a while now and my mother board is a x2 capable of 2 processers and i was suppost to get them when they sent me the package o well. i cant wait to pop that other 4.0ghz p4 ee w/ht in this already outragous beast. im glad its liquid cooled or it would deff catch on fire lol

i would if i had a digi cam lol im trin to get a free one now check the link in my signature. out of all the stuff i got in the last few years electronic wise ud think i would have one. at the time also im trin to find a nice case and either make another system =to or > than this one with more room in it for future upgrades. and all the random stuff i have bought in the last few years took me broke lol from 2 new cars since 2000 one of witch is a import that i have been putting a lot into to get them 1/4 mile times down . i have exhausted a dam small fortune the past few years lol. and the thing i wanted most was a digi cam and thats one thing i never got, if i ever get my free one witch i should cause that place really works,u just have to get people to sign up whitch is turning out to be hard cause people think its a scam witch its not,then i shall have some pic for yall. in the meantime im off to look for a nice stealthy case to transplant this system or make one on my own so when i take it to a lan or what ever people will think its a nice tame pc,but little will they know of the sleeping beast inside ready to be awoaken. i do like the alx case its very nice but i need a secret pc case anyone wana buy the alx case?

speakin of sellin i may even sell the whole system for the money i could get for it i could create something outa control. i feel a project commin on,maby a few pc daisy chained to make a small super computer.muhahahahahaahahaahhaah its alive its alive.
