| Goodbye John Peel Monday the 25th oct 2004 sore the loss of probley the most influential DJ the world has ever seen, i will never forget seeing him djing at the rockhouse in derby in the late 70`s playing tunes & mixes no one had heard of. he absolutly rocked the place. R.I.P john |

| Re: Goodbye John Peel John Peel - BBC Radio 1 If you listened to his shows you will know his taste in music was strange but fasinating. He died today aged 65 while on holiday from a heart attack. The Radio 1 Website has a tribute page for all of your comments and regards. This is a very sad loss to the UK as he was much loved.
