| Re: Fujitsu looks to raise laptop HDD capacity Beats me why we need this much storage in a laptop I can understand the "need for speed"...so 7200rpm is cool...but 320 GB...hmm. A lappy was meant to be portable...which means it can get knocked around a bit...my Vaio went through 2 HDs in 3 years...and I have my suspicions about the third too. My new Dell came with 250 GB, but that already makes me nervous...it's a lot to lose if the backups aren't good and up-to-date Oh well...bigger faster better... ![]()

| Re: Fujitsu looks to raise laptop HDD capacity That's actually good news for some. ![]() My step-father is a DJ, and rather than lugging around loads of discs, he's in the process of ripping them all to his laptop HDD (160 gig IIRC)....more space would certainly do him good, as he does karaoke stuff as well.
