Re: Evil Adware Zango "zapped"

Hmm ... lets see .. these guys don't obey the law in the first place ... why would they conform, after they've been fined ...

There's obviously ALOT of money to be made here .. and they don't feel they have any responsibility anyway, as they just provide a platform to install things on other people programs ... they don't actually produce the malicious software themselves ..

Admitting that you've illegally downloaded movies/songs and need help to process/burn is comparable to robbing a bank, and walking into the bank the next day holding the bags of money to deposit them into your account.
Don't be surprised if people laugh at you when you make the headlines.

Re: Evil Adware Zango "zapped"

I am reviving this old thread in an effort to find out if there are new experiences with Zango.
Question: have they changed in any way?

I am not against adware in the sense that it is just advertisement trying to "make a buck" in the everyday world but I AM against truly invasive adware that can infect your PC with other software of which you don't authorize the installation.

So, what have others experienced with this company, Zango?

I came across it while looking at the website, tvlinks4u.com. Upon registration you must agree to having the Zango adware program installed on your computer. I know nothing of this website or how well it is operated.
