The province accounts for 84.2 percent of China's exports of DVD players and exported 34.5 million of the players during the January to May period.

I am REALLY disapointed that manufactures arn't making more money off of use the consumers.

Actually I wish they'd stop selling these crap players that aren't doing us any good.... they are cheap yes, but for the Chinese there is no money in them, and for the consumers they seem to be a waste of money, as they all have strange problems....

Well I'm very happy with my el cheapo DivX-playing DVD player. But its made in Turkey... Well how much is $1 in yen? What do I get for $1 in China? And if I sell thousands of these players all over the world, what do I end up with?

I dont think the manufacturers suffer too much. And if DVD isnt profitable enough they can massproduce el cheapo EVD players instead...
