Unable to read DVD-R with Dw800a B3D7 - Club CDFreaks

I have this weird problem with reading some of my dvd-r. Using B3D7 i was unable to read or take a long time to load. While using B3C7, it loaded up within secs.

No changes when using dw822a firmware. Only B3C7 can read all the disc....

Anyone got such problem

I have the same problem with my DW800A. Only B3B7 works for me in DVD-R reading. But now i'm stuck in DW800A@822A@830A situation and everything works fine with B4A8. Except missing DVD-R/RW writing.

My DW800A@830A reads all my DVD-Rs perfectly.
In my case problems with DVD-R reading exists only with B3C7-D7 firmwares.

Can't you flash 'back' to firmware B3C7? That's the version I'm using and it works fine. (I didn't pay for B3A7 by the way, got it in a sneaky way)

Then i got stuck with 2x burn speed. 4x and 2x makes a lot of differences.

did u find a solution other then staying at B3C7? (cause i agree with u with the diff with 2x and 4x, plus i payed for the 4x

)
