| Strange spike at beginning of burn I am using a Benq 1640 with the latest firmware. Media is Maxell (RicohJPN R03). Solidburn on/OS off. Any ideas? ![]() Did a scandisk as well, but never saw a spike at that point. So is this an issue which can be just passe? |

| Re: Strange spike at beginning of burn try anotehr batch from anotehr spindle, or another brand. If every spindle or brand has that same spike at same place then you have a problem. Those are acceptable to good burns btw. |

| Re: Strange spike at beginning of burn Here is RicohJPNR03 @12X on BenQ 1640 @ BSPB, 2nd disc under that firmware, allowing the firmware to learn the write stategy. http://club.cdfreaks.com/attachment....chmentid=77307 So the first disc is for the firmware to learn and thats why you experienced "bad" peaks.
