| Problem reading recorded DVDs I bought a BenQ-1640 to use as my only drive. It cannot seem to read +RW disks I recorded in a LiteOn LVW-5007 standalone DVD recorder. Seems OK when reading finalized +R disks. Anyone else have problems reading +RWs? I had to swap back to my 8x LiteOn burner to read the disks. Thanks. |

| Re: Problem reading recorded DVDs My Plextor PX-712 and BenQ 1640 can barely read each others' RW (CD and DVD) burns and I get wildly different results when each scans the others' burns. That seemed odd because I get almost identical PIE scan results from DVD-R/DVD+R media recorded by either. I basically keep separate RW media for each now. Can you CDSpeed-scan the discs recorded by the LVW-5007, or does the 1640 not recognize them at all? |
