48x24x48x CD speeds. A Litey and not a real Philips/BenQ.

Sneaker Fun Fact: When Circa was developing a pro shoe for Chad Muska, he requested a stash pocket to run the entire length of the tongue. When designers asked The Muska if he really needed that much stash room, he replied, “Yo, I gots a lotta weed to fit in there, man!”

Re: Philips? real philips? or re-branded lite-on?

so which lite-on model would this be? is it possible to tell?

i really dis-like lite-on now, when they bought benq not only did they killed off great company and the drives. they took xbox 360 dvd-rom deal, and got better access to retail market.

i'm gonna miss benq/philips

This is a better indication:
Supported transfer mode: PIO mode 4, DMA mode 2 and Ultra DMA mode 4
Benq/Philips don't support UDMA 4. So this is a Liteon.

Re: Philips? real philips? or re-branded lite-on?

It supports DVD-RAM, but not LightScribe.
DVD-RAM = SHM-165?6S
No LightScribe = P

Model: LITE-ON DVDRW SHM-165P6S
