Philips CDD4801

Okay, I need some help here. I am working on someone's PC and I am trying to update the firmware for this drive. I have downloaded the firmware from the firmware link on the main page here at CDFreaks, but the flashtool isn't seeing the firmware. I know it's an older drive, but it's having some problems like randomly ejecting for no apparant reason, so I thought maybe flashing it would fix it. I flashed the CDROM that's right above it on the PC tower and it wouldn't even read CDRW discs before, but now it does (even Mitsubishi ultra-speed discs).

Anyway, I have searched all over and can't find a working flashtool, so I thought maybe someone could point me in the right direction, like give me a link or something. The version of the flashtool I have is 3.4.0.0 and the firmware I D\L'ed was 2.5, I have tried turning off DMA and Auto insert, but the stupid flashtool just doens't see the firmware.

Re: Philips CDD4801

Alright, I solved the problem myself, I found a working flash utility. For future reference it's here ----> http://home.tiscali.be/stefsom/stefs...04%20setup.exe

Anyway, I got the drive flashed and working properly.
