im using B7S9 cause thats the only one that will give me good quality on ritekg04 mini and sony08d1 dvd-r and maxell002 dvd+r

i use to run B7T9 and it did the same performance as above but then i went to try B7W9 and it fubared so i went back to T9 but it fubared so i went back to S9 and it works better (yea i did the B7L9 trick but the burner refuses to work under T9 anymore...)

the only problem S9 gives me is sometimes it wont finalize my ritekg04 minis...those cost me ~2.50cdn each...and i coastered 3 already cause they dont finalize in nero/decrypter sometimes....the sony08d1 work fine though

anyways so I went to burn an iso on a dvd+r, it past the quality scan in nerospeed with flying colors @ 97

transfer rate test gives me unrecovered read error and trying to image the disc back to computer gives same read error

my laptops dvdrom is only locked to 1x so i didnt wanna scan

so i used my xbox to rip the iso back to the xbox hdd

it copied it fine

so what is going on....the drive aint dead but ever since i played with W9 it gives me so much problems that i cant flash it back correctly...

i shoulda never tried to fix what aint broke heh

i bought my 1620 with my cousin and we both flashed to T9 back then right away...his still works great with all kinds of media (even my media thats giving me trouble now burns wicked on his)

just cause i tried the newest firmware and it didnt work as good as T9, the T9 dont wanna work no more for me...only S9 loves me a bit heh but it still gives me problems at times
