Looking for media for a Benq 1640 - Club CDFreaks

I'm about to buy a 1620 or 1640 and am looking for a dealer in the US to purchase media, I need DVD+RW and 8X. Not may places carry these disks, and the ones that show up under Google have terrible reseller ratings.

Any sites that carry both good DVD+RW and the Benq drive that you would recommend ? Newegg and Zipzoomfly dont cary the media.

Don't know about finding both the drive and media at same retailer...

Check out my Verbatim 16x +R from OfficeMax (MCC004) scan here.

Sub 6 minute burning at 12x with stock firmware, SB Off, OS Off, and WOPC Off. Doesn't get much better than that.

... this is one of the best MCC003 scans (if not THE best) I have ever seen.

. With good MCC-003's you can get QS99 even at 12x speed.

Here, Verbatim 8x DVD+RW (MKMA03) burned at 8x on BenQ 1640 BSLB.

zevia, please, can you post a dvd+rw scan after you do a complete erase (not the first burn) ? With my dw1620, after the first burn the qs of MKM A02 goes from 97 down in the region of 50-60 or even worst and with lots of PIFs... Thank you
