LightScribe Drives Comparison @ CDRInfo.com

Heres a comprehensive article on Lightscribe and the 3 LS Drives currently on the market .Needless to say there isnt much difference between the 3 LS Drives and I personally have crossflashed all 3 firmwares on my HP 640i.

The main obstacle to Lightscribe at the momnet is the cost of the DVD media which is fetching $1.50 US a disk. I think the disk manufactures are trying to create a inflated market personally .

The CDRs are reasonably priced and you can get a 30 pack of Lightscribe CDRs for $19.95 US .
