BenQ / Philips Burner Discuss, DVD-R 16 minutes at 8X at CD and DVD Burners forum; I checked my setup in the device manager as recommended in the thread a few down. It is in DMA if available. I also have ASPI running. Is there another setting or something I need to check. I am running XP SP2. This is for a Benq 1640 in a

You really don't need the brand new thread for this if you refering to few threads down then why don't you post you concern on that thread since people then know what are you talking about.

Probably something to with the external / chipset / enclosures issues. Best bet is to do a search on external burner problems in the Benq forum. I recall this issue being discussed many times. Good luck.
