| DVD-R 16 minutes at 8X I checked my setup in the device manager as recommended in the thread a few down. It is in DMA if available. I also have ASPI running. Is there another setting or something I need to check. I am running XP SP2. This is for a Benq 1640 in a prolific enclosure via USB 2.0. |

| Re: DVD-R 16 minutes at 8X Probably something to with the external / chipset / enclosures issues. Best bet is to do a search on external burner problems in the Benq forum. I recall this issue being discussed many times. Good luck. |
