| Re: Benq1620 Invalid block address So you're burning in UDF format rather than ISO, right ? ISO format doesn't support single files over 1Gb, although I'm not sure if that particular error message has any relation to that fact. |

| Re: Benq1620 Invalid block address In Nero, if you open a new compilation, you specify from the menu which format you want to use. The first option is DVD ISO, then further down the list is DVD UDF. I'm pretty sure Nero will give an error or warning if you drag a >1Gb into a compilation being burned under the ISO standard though. |

If burn already failed 6-7 times, remove IDE-channel the drive is connected to in devicemanager and restart compu. Windoze will install new IDE drivers, so don't worry.Quote:
We still like to know "what" you are burning. No need to be specific, just say data-, movie- or "what ever" -file(-s). ![]() | ||

| Re: Benq1620 Invalid block address Ok after checking the cable configuration I found that for some reason the Benq was jumpered as master but was not on the end connector of the IDE ribbon cable and DMA was not enabled in XP. Have moved it to the end connector and have been able to burn and verify this file. Will have to keep an eye on it and see if any problems occur. Thanks for all the suggestions. |
