Benq DW1670 or DW1655

Hello everybody, just a little question for skilled guys!
I'm going to assembly a new PC and I would ilke to insert a Dw1670 or a DW1650.
Does anyone know which one can obtain better writing quality results ?
I know that the DW1670 is completely different from the past drives because of the different chip (this caused the absence of the Solid Burn, Wopc and PI scan ).

Thanks

Thansk zevia for reply.
Only one thing, in my city I have some difficultes to find a retail version.
Is the OEM version equal to the retail one in terms of burning quality ?
Thanks

Yes Italic. OEM or Retail they are using the same hardware/drive. The firmware that controls the drive burning and reading performance.

In north Italy you can find lots of philips 1660K/1668K that you can easily crossflash to benq 1650/1655.

Both OEM and retail models are identical, the firmware for those is the same.

You're right Cyberman. I have checked the Benq site, and the separate firmwares release for oem and retail versions are only for drives older than dw1650.
Sorry!

This issue has been discussed in another threads in detail and majority opinion favored BenQ 1655.
