Ok I've done 4 searches they all come up with no matches. My 1655 after it has sit unused for awhile , like one day. i have to push the button 3 times before it opens. the first time it just makes a thump, the second time the light blinks , and the third time it opens and then works the rest of the day. any ideas???

That is normal when drives are not used for a long time... open and close a few times to restore the drawer... or put some oil in it...

I don't think thats normal at all, I have drives in my closet for over a year and when I put them into my tower they eject just fine, I would try it in a different computer and if it still happens maybe you can warrantee it, if it is not over a year old.
