BenQ / Philips Burner Discuss, Benq DW1640 Initial Burn Verbatim 16X +R at CD and DVD Burners forum; Not sure what happened toward the end. How do you judge it? First thing I did was flash firmware to bsjb. Thanks Bob

Those peaks seem to show up on all 16x +R media, but usually much higher. That's a pretty good scan, from what I've seen.

What you have is typical with BSJB
You can either try 12x or go back to BSIB which you'll find here
