| BENQ DW 800A bitsetting I just bought a BENQ DW800A and I know they are going to release a firmware upgrade in mid Jan. next year which will add -R compatibility to this drive. I wonder if the bitsetting/booktype ability will be disabled in the firmware upgrade since it looks like only single format recorders support bitsetting/booktype so far. BTW, FYI, BENQ is going to make this upcoming firmware upgrade a paid download, i.e., need to pay to download as they have to pay $ to pioneer and those companies who set the -R standard. |
