| Benq 1655 Very Slow When Searching DVD+R So I have searched the forums and google before I posted this question, and have found a few solutions but it still doesn't explain one issue I am having. A friend of my compiled some software he thought would be useful for me after I bought my Benq 1655, some is freeware and some is trail that has a keygen crack (I think). When I put the dvd+r (TDK) in and windows pops up "what do you want to do" screen I click on explore. Now I have been trying to cut and paste a file to my HDD and I think I just need to duplicate the dvd with a software program? But when I am exploring the DVD I am getting a real nasty hang, where it does not respond for a minute or so when it is opening the folder. Example when I click on a windows media file of a movie it takes FOREVER to actually load the movie and then it will not play. Every file is like this not just for media files. Any suggestions? The reason I think there is a keygen, is when I try to copy and paste to my HDD from the DVD it will give me an error "Unable to copy Keygen." Thanks |

| Re: Benq 1655 Very Slow When Searching DVD+R In my experience key gens usually carry Trojans, worms and viruses. Avoid like the plague. I have spent hours some times sorting out other peoples machines after they had become infected. By the way no one will help you here with illegal software.

| Re: Benq 1655 Very Slow When Searching DVD+R Your BenQ should be fine but your system might have been infected by a trojan or other bad stuff from the disc. I would suggest to clean up your system and dump the disc, it's not worth the trouble. Thread closed.
