BenQ 1655 CVT firmware, anyversion, needed please help - Club CDFreaks

Just bought an I/O Magic drive, hand picked out the BenQ 1655 for $34.99 at Staples, it comes with OEM firmware, I want to flash it to BCGB firmware but I need CVT firmware. I found a website but requires registration. If you have the CVT firmware, any version, please help. thank you

Good luck...I may need to cruise by my local Staples and try to find one of these drives myself.

they have more, just that I only need one to convert to external drive for my lappy. I just bought a cypress AT2+ chip USB external enclosure for the drive from dealsonic.com. This enclosure can reach up to 20X for burners so I have plenty of headroom for the benQ 1655

I suspect, your Benq will not reach more than 14x.

Btw: BQflasher did not work for you to crossflash retail firmware?
