| Benq 1640 and 1655 reading protected disks Hi all. I recently posted a 1640 vs. 1655 thread in the newbie section as I'm trying to decide between the two. Someone mentioned that the 1655 may not be able to read protected CD's? That would definitely sway my decision along with any other info you guys might have. I'm asking here too as they mentioned the thread may be more appropriate here than in the newbie section. Someone in that thread mentioned using software for the decrypting, but according to some of the reviews it seems that some disks like games may not even be readable by the drive itself? Here's the other thread where people were very helpful. http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=172990 I'd also like to ask if these drives are good at burning dual layers? Thanks |
