| BenQ 1620 not reading discs anymore More and more lately, my DVD drive has not been able to read discs. I started to notice the problem about a month ago when it wouldn't register there was a blank DVD-R disk inserted (I tried 2 different brands). Today, the problem got worse. I was trying to burn DVD Taiyo Yuden disc using Nero. It only got 1% and stayed that way for 12 minutes, till I finally closed nero. I'm assuming thats when it was trying to do the calibration before the burn. So besides not often being able to recognize blank cd/dvd media, it now has problems reading pressed media. I think my DVD drive needs to be RMA'ed since it's no longer functioning. Using B7W9 firmware. |
