| 1620 fails to burn MKM003 I've had my 1620 for some time, but never needed to burn a dual-layer until a few days ago. I bought a pack of five Verbatim (media code MKM003) and have coastered the first two. I'm not rich by any stretch, so this is concerning me. The error happens just as it switches layers. I'm using the latest (B7W9) firmware. Can anyone tell me if these discs are incompatible with the 1620? Any hope? I have three left - can't return them. |

| Re: 1620 fails to burn MKM003 My burning software is a little dated (Nero 6.6) I suppose. I've never had any issues with it before, though. I did rename MKM 001 to 003, and got one successful burn in at 4x. Perhaps the media works better at the faster speed. |
