LG Burner Discuss, Post new firmware and tool ANNOUNCEMENTS here at CD and DVD Burners forum; I need some advice here. I wish to update the firmware of my LG 20x SATA writer. Can someone tell me that the firmware I downloaded matches the model of my burner?

All firmware is stock (no patches).
Sorry for being a noob, but how do you recover from a bad flash using the core files? Also, what was wrong with the earlier firmwares released? Thx a lot...

Several of the LG firmwares have an (ew) after it. Does anyone know what (ew) stands for?

GH20NS15 IL00
GH20LS15 JL00
