Hye everyone..
I have problem with that drive.
I just bought it yesterday but there's no driver for me to install this hardware.
I connect it to my PC but it won't work.
Can somebody help me how to solve this problem?

optical drives (CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD burners) don't need any special drivers. you just install them into the computer and they work.

if your drive isn't working you need to give some more information.
what are the specs of your system, how the drives are set up on the IDE channels, what exactly are the problems you are experiencing.

I am also having the same problem my pc is quite old 1.7 gig procesor 512 MB ram via chipset (235 watt power supply) I'm thinking it may be a power problem but I'm trying to avoid spending any more money !!!!!

I've tried 3 different cables some times the drive is there in my computer but wont read or write, in the bios it either registers as DVD RW or CD ROM ????? Don't know what thats about If I figure it out I'll let you know or if anyone knows what the hell is going on it would be much appreciated.
