Lg Gsa-h10n

Hi!

I bought a LG GSA-H10N drive because of its performance specs and good price.
The problem is that the drive is very very loud. My PC is not silent and the drive is definitely louder than both of my PCs in the same room. Is there a way to fix this?
Another question: can you recommend a fast reliable dvd-rw which is very quiet?

Thanks,
Chris

That's normal unless you want a permanent slow drive.
You can use tools like 'Nero DriveSpeed' to slow down the drive to be silent. Must be supported by the device though.

I can't hear 62N. It's SATA though.

Uhem it's really really loud, like a tractor.

@sverkalo: Thanks for the tip

It shouldn't be. Mine is nearly silent, one of the quietest drives I've had.
