Would you by chance have some packet writing software installed, like InCD?

I have no packet writing software. I do have the Matsushita DVD-RAM driver installed - but I stopped the service running so it shouldn't be that. I also have the latest firmware DL12.

Post the text output of Nero Infotool as text file attachment using the Manage Attatchments button so we can have a look at your config.

The one with info, there is also a real BSOD without info (which is a pain).

Was I the only one who thought BSOD was some new release of BenQ firmware?

Re: GSA-4167B BSOD with Verbatim Ultra Speed+ CD-RW 32x

In case anyone is interested I purged my system of Aspi, Patin-Couffin and Elby drivers and all is well now. The discs read fine with no BSOD.
