| Gateway laptop, GWA-4082N firmware options ? I understand one's options are limited with OEM laptop drives but I was hoping at a minimum to find a firmware that removes riplock. I presume this drive has this as DVD Decrypter reported a max read speed of 3.1x and an average speed in the 2.7x range (for a video DVD). Over at RPC1's forums I found a firmware that does auto-reset (region protection) and/or RPC modification. Neither of those are much interest to me... Gateway has NO updates available. What options are available ?? |
