funny thing with LG GCE-8320b

hi all,

i got a lg 8320b, with 1.04 firmware, and i just seen a funny thing with this.
i've tried to copy a cd, i tried on a cdrw with clone cd, and it let me write à 4x in dao-96 mode.
when i put a cd-r, i can't chose a speed less than 8x, and i can't get the dao-96 mode.
i tried to swap the cd-rw and the cd-r at the last time, but the cd-writer "see" it and change the parameters.
i can't make this copy without 4x speed and the dao-96 mode.

if someone has seen the same, or has a solution (like modofied firmware), please answer back.

i need all the help i can have, so please help me.

(please forgive my bad english, i'm french)

I have found that CloneCD not always identifies
my LG drive properly. If you run "can IDE bus" again,
it normally identifies the drive and its abilities properly.

I have had this problem with CloneCD 4 and a LG8320.
