| FTA receivers with PVR Hi, I'm a newbie; I am looking to purchase a FTA receiver. I understand them to be legal. I am looking at VIEWSAT PVR7000 (350.00), Pansat 6000 HXC (400.00) & Neosat iPRO 2000 (470.00). Prices per extremesats (http://www.extremesats.com). I am new to FTA receivers I would like to know the pro's & con's of each unit. I would also like to know more about the program guide. Do the program guides require a internet connection? Is it hard to determine what is on? I am currently a directTV subscriber paying 70.00 a month. I would want to get 2 or 3 satellites, either Direct TV or Dish Network. Please feel free to post adnosiem. |
