Many people are learning that you can play mp3's on dvd from a standalone dvd player.......but

most standalone dvd players don't play mp3's on dvd, and those that say they do have to be tested !

Why is it so difficult to get players to play mp3's on dvdr's !

I mean it's such a silly and easy tecnology, is it so hard to implement this feature in standalone dvd players ?

i do know of a couple of players that playback mp3 from dvd, but thats's not much is is ?

How is this market evolving ?

i think that this is the future of mp3/video home/playback, it can also read memory cards, usb devices, hook it up to a giant tv or stereo, use it in the car, ,at work etc.

the third generation will have tv and radio tuner incorporated at lower costs, that's when i will buy one !!!

...and more to the point i would like to know if your standalone dvd player can play mp3's from DVD disc of any sort, i've got an AMSTRAD that won't !
