Stand alone DVD player firmwares - Club CDFreaks

Does anyone have a good site for DVD player firmwares. If they are hacked ones that would be even better.

I don't think you'll find much of such firmwares... Most Dvd-players aren't even equipped with a flash-rom. I know a site specific for firmware upgrades on philips dvd-players but im not sure if thats what you are looking for.

I found a firmware for a Sampo player I have and figured i might beable to the same to a few other player I have and some of my friends players.

I'm mainly looking for a region free firmware for my Pioneer DV-563A
