Sony DVP-NS775V - Lots of trouble reading DVD+RW

Sony prints "DVD+RW" all over the box, but this thing has severe trouble reading one.

It's Branded as Memorex. Any ideas on better media?

Media with Mitsubishi Chemicals Corp.'s dye is the best. Their own media is sold under Verbatim (www.verbatim.com) brand name.


PS.
I'm not sure do media change help in this case or is that trouble only consequence of your players bad DVD+RW support.
