| Question about XP record mode and compression I have a Panasonic and recorded 24 season 1 in XP mode on my system. How many hours compressed can I fit on a DVD-R without the video qaulity degrading to a unreasonable point in from this XP mode, 4 hours, 6hours, or even 8? |

| Re: Question about XP record mode and compression ?? How are you gonna compress the video? Different programs will give different results.If you re-record on your Panasonic, I'd say stick with SP (2 hours). Some clarification would be nice here...
