Like a bad penny I've turned up again
I cant find the post I submited to thank FENGTAO for their Beta Version of Platinum, it has certainly sorted my old problem - the inability to read discs written on my Phillips Stand alone DVDRecorder - Model DVDR7300h?05
I recived Much help from Many members which was gratfully accepted.
This time I have a troublesome DVD player a Naiko Player that wont read minus RW discs i.e. non FINALIZED discs It reads/playes other discs Shop bought home written ect but not a - RW
Any advice please

NO PLAYER can play or read unfinalized DVD-RW media.
Finalize them first!

There are some cross wires somewhere!!!
I just played the 'problem' disc on my LG LH-T360SE AI -OK
So never prepred to 'NOT' take advice when I've asked
I put the DVD-RW back in the Phillips DVDR and tried to Finalize it with the response "Not Possible - Compatible".
So as my old advisers will confirm its Belt and Braces for me to be sure -- Recorded another program onto another (manufacturer that is) DVD -RW and tried to finalized that with same "Compatable Result" played it in the 'LG' - Ok playback but a no no on the Naiko - No Disc!!
Tried the disk in My Matshita SR-8588 and TSST SH-S162L both the later -- computer based (dont know if this makes a difference)
So honestly I'm lost My past Helper Big Mac, Signals Jimbo and MaineMan among others I suspect have uttered a few Expletives under their breath but struggled on with that previose Problem
