Digital Video Recorder & Home Entertainment Discuss, liteon sohw 812s at International Chat: Hardware related forum; when i put a blank dvd-r in it says free space 0 and total size is 0,untill i format it.is this normal and if not how do i fix.....ps xp thanks

well usually when you put a blank dvd in, windows just acts as if there is nothing in the drive, of course the real test is when you try burn something to it, if it asks for blank media then you know you're in trouble!
