Hello Everybody!

I have LG HDD DVD RH7823W. When I burn a DivX CD with subtitles, it shows gibberish. The subtitles language I use is Hebrew. Everything is configured correctly and the area code is correct. I also tried pressing 'subtitle' button for 3 seconds and choose Hebrew but there is no 'Hebrew' option there. That leads me to believe that there is no Hebrew font chart in the device.

Now, I know that you ask "what the hell I have to do with Hebrew", and that probably most of you don't speak this language.

BUT - If you found a solution for other languages, maybe I can use that and develop it to work also with Hebrew. I also know that there are people who develop home made firmware upgrades so if someone is familiar with this model firmware and can contact me I'll send him the fonts and maybe he can write a firmware upgrade, or just modify an existing firmware upgrade for another language.

And if someone knows how to develop a firmware upgrade and want to teach me I will also be wiling to do that. Or maybe there is a guide somewhere on the web and you can post some links.

Any kind of help will do.
