| How to Remove CGMS from DVDs how to remove CGMS. This is very simple first: copy the movie that has CGMS into a VCR notice: if you experience picture distortion this will not work because the DVD is protected with APS. Make sure, its distorted FREE otherwise, the DVD Recorder will not allow copying. as soon as the VCR has finished copying the DVD simply copy the VHS tape to DVD then the DVD Recorder will give you a RECording message. The secret: VCRS remove CGMS during Recording however, VCRs do record the APS not allowing you to record it. Hope this helps. Please let me know if this works for you ![]() |
