Good Quality VCR/DVD Combo Burner Recommendations??

I'm looking for recommendations for a straightforward, simple to use
VCR/DVD combo burner for my Mother In Law. She's abit of a technophobe
and just wants to transfer her VHS videos to DVD with a minimum of
fuss. (I know, I know... that's what son-in-laws are for ;-) Anyway, she
has a large screen TV but nothing Hi-Def so fancy connectors aren't
neccessary. I would like it to burn good quality DVD's and be $200 or less.
Any suggestions??

TIA,
Prof

Re: Good Quality VCR/DVD Combo Burner Recommendations??

Panasonic is probably the best VHS/DVD-R combo unit around...well made, electronically excellent. Welcome to the forum, btw.

Re: Good Quality VCR/DVD Combo Burner Recommendations??

I am using Pioneer RT500 for the last 1 1/2 year that works flaCT-1)flawlessly plus I am using SIMA CT-1 protection remover (Sima Video Enhancer CT-1) for removing any CCS from VHS when converting it to DVD.
