Digital Video Recorder & Home Entertainment Discuss, FYI: Toshiba Settles class action suit at International Chat: Hardware related forum; So if you have an older Toshiba stand alone player, go to www.DVDnotice.com . The older players were advertised as having the ability to play CD-R's and other burnt media, but they don't always. Mine doesn't ever. Anyway, as a result of the class action

FYI: Toshiba Settles class action suit

So if you have an older Toshiba stand alone player, go to www.DVDnotice.com. The older players were advertised as having the ability to play CD-R's and other burnt media, but they don't always. Mine doesn't ever. Anyway, as a result of the class action suit, they have to do one of three options: refund, update firmware, or replace the unit. Check it out to see what you qualify for.
