Do you mean 'DVD Recorder' (records to DVD and/or hard disk) or 'Digital Video Recorder' (records only to hard disk)?

Moved to DVD & Home Entertainment anyway.

Looking for DV- HD recording. Looks like Blue Ray will play HD format DVDs. Is the only recording of HD through Comcast?

Your question is wague, first there is no HD recorder as far as I know second you can buy Blue-Ray recorder which records Video in "High Defination" Format. If this is what are you asking, then I suggest you Visit HD-Bulue-Ray Forum @the following:
