| dvd recorder Hi Just been given a Samsung sh853m dvd recorder for my 60th birthday. I have an Amstrad Skybox DRX550. When the recorder does its scan it doesn't find any channels. I think i have made the right connections. Its probably something obvious because i'm not very good at this sort of thing. Please give me some ideas. oldbob |

| Re: dvd recorder Hi Thanks for your help guys. You are right i can't receive Freeview, the signal is too weak. That's why i got a Sky box. I know it might sound daft to you but i thought the dvd recorder would do the same as a Sky + box. The dvd recorder has gone back and i'm reliable informed that there will be a good deal on Sky + boxes next month. Thanks again Bob. |
