| DVD Disc Edges with Cheap Players Hi, I was wondering if anyone has noticed this, as It's come to my attention a few times when I've used cheap/budget dvd players. What I have noticed is that after playing discs on certain players, the disc edges become rough and have little strings of plastic fraying off, as though the disc edge has come in contact with something whilst in the player, which has scratched it. ![]() I don't know if this is indeed anything to be concerned about as the DVD's still play but it can be quite annoying sometimes, especially if it's a brand new DVD! ![]() Does anyone have any idea why certain players do this and if it is anything to worry about? The DVD players this has occurred with have mainly been Alba ones. eg: Alba DVD59 Many Thanks Nafe. |
